510 - Pertronix Digital HP Ignition Control Boxes is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for buck value I bought this unit to replace a MSD 6A that gave up the ghost. The Petronix unit is smaller (i.e. easier to find a place to mount in the engine bay), has more features, and doesn't cost much more than a base MSD box (actually cheaper than a comparable MSD 6AL). Easy to wire, and does what it's supposed to do.

This has a tach output wire similar to the street fire box. Your MSD box should work with most tachometers.
