Big Block Chevy 396-502ci
This Edelbrock 2161 Performer 2-O Intake Manifold is designed for street 396-502 ci. big-block Chevy engines using general duty oval-port cylinder heads. The dual-plane, low-rise design greatly improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response from off-idle through 5500 rpm.
Edelbrock 2161 Performer 2-O Intake Manifold:
- Accepts OEM (Quadrajet), Spread Bore, or 4150 Square-Bore Carburetors
- Non-EGR
- Recommended intake gasket Edelbrock 7203 or equivalent (sold separately)
- Includes Choke Plate 8961
- Carb Pad Height: 4.85 in.
- Port Exit Dimensions: 1.70 in. w x 1.68 in.
- Will not fit "tall block" V8's
- Will not fit under hood of Corvette without hood modifications
- DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS, Use RTV sealant to properly seal ends
- Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum
