These Compressors Make Short Work of Changing Springs

The Proform Heavy-Duty Manual Valve Spring Compressor is easy to use. It simply works to install and remove valve springs in less time. The compressor arm slides for adjustment, employing a locking pin for rapid, easy operation. This is a must have tool for any valve spring replacement job and a great valve spring compressor for the money. Rated up to 700 lbs pressure capacity.

The Proform Professional Heavy-Duty Manual Valve Spring Compressor is similar to the original manual valve spring compressor but has a reinforced handle and dual-welded body joints. It is designed specifically to handle high-pressure valve springs, it is capable of 1000 lbs pressure capacity!

The Proform Pneumatic Valve Spring Compressor reduces cylinder head disassembly/assembly time by more than half. The compressor arm slides and locks with a pin for fast, easy adjustment on most cylinder heads. The pneumatic cylinder is capable of producing 350 pounds of force at 125 psi but needs only 100 psi minimum to operate.

The Proform standard duty valve spring compressor removes and installs valve springs with the heads on or off the engine. It handles 1''-2'' diameter springs and fits 3/8'' and 7/16'' studs. The most affordable valve spring compressor yet is the stud-style compressor which will easily compress almost any spring. It works with Chevy Small Block, Big Block, Ford, and Pontiac engines.

    • Quick tip: For head on engine applications instead of stuffing rope through the spark plug hole to prevent your valve from falling, use Proform's Air Hold Adapter Set - 778-67400 with an air compressor to do the job properly.
