Semi-Metallic brake pads readily handle higher temepratures and dissipate heat from the brake rotor surface, reducing brake fade. Noise and vibration concerns are reduced by chamfering and/or slotting in the fiction material, along with use of specialized backing plate shims. Noise-dampening hardware kits are included when applicable. A high quality replacement for vehicles on the road today, ACDelco Silver (Advantage) Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pads are ready to be installed right out of the box.
