A K-type thermocouple gives tuners an inexpensive, fast-responding way to read exhaust gas temperature, and the closed-tip Inconel sheath is made for the heat. This four-pack covers a full set of cylinders or measurement points and connects to an AEM CAN EGT module. The same sensor can also monitor cylinder head, intercooler, air, water, fluid and disc brake temperatures. For the most accurate readings, AEM recommends pairing it with the 8-channel K-type EGT CAN module (PN 30-2224, sold separately).
