For those who like their volume like their speed (and want to feel the raw nature of the GRC’s potent 3-cylinder at all speeds) the Track Edition features a non-resonated mid-section (i.e. no 180 Technology). It’s even louder (in & out) than the Touring Edition, while shaving weight and cost. This version is known to get rowdy in mid-range acceleration/deceleration and cruising, and may be too much for some. For this reason, the Track Edition cannot be returned for sound reasons--you've been warned! The Track Edition boasts a 3 in. T304L stainless steel downpipe-back configuration that brings out an incredibly rowdy and powerful soundtrack that is nothing short of attention-grabbing. AWE designed three, perfectly fitting (and larger) tips for the GRC: one bespoke 4.5 in. x 8 in. oval (double-walled, slash-cut tip and stamped with the AWE logo) in the center, and two 5 in. double-walled, slash-cut tips left and right. No forced block-off plates or quad setups here - just pure GR look, as intended. When it comes to valves, the rumors are true - they don't matter once you remove the backpressure issues of the stock configuration (and you can't open the valve yourself anyway).
