BTR’s 4340 forged H-beam connecting rods are engineered for high strength, dimensional accuracy, and long-term durability in demanding LS engine builds. Each rod is heat-treated, stress relieved, and shot peened to enhance fatigue resistance. The 6.125 in. center-to-center length mates with a 2.100 in. rod journal and a bronze-bushed .9278 in. pin bore, making these rods suitable for a wide range of LS stroker and rebuild applications. Precision machining and serialized cap-and-rod pairing ensure proper alignment and repeatable bearing clearances after service. Every set undergoes inspection for housing bore diameter, pin bore diameter, bend, twist, and center-to-center length. ARP 2000 7/16-20 x 1.600 in. rod bolts are pre-torqued using high-pressure lubricant for consistent clamp load. Rods weigh approximately 665 grams and are matched within 2 grams per set. Each rod is laser marked with the BTR logo, individually VCI bagged, and boxed in matched sets of eight.
