BTR’s 4340 forged H-beam connecting rods for Gen III HEMI engines are engineered for high strength, dimensional accuracy, and durability in demanding performance applications. Each rod is heat-treated, stress relieved, and shot peened to improve fatigue resistance. The 6.125 in. center-to-center length pairs with a 2.100 in. bearing housing, a bronze-bushed .9278 in. pin bore, and a HEMI-specific .050 in. offset. Every rod undergoes inspection for housing bore diameter, pin bore diameter, bend, twist, and center-to-center length to ensure precise alignment and consistent bearing clearances. ARP 2000 7/16-20 x 1.600 in. fasteners are pre-torqued using high-pressure lubricant for repeatable clamp load. Rods weigh approximately 668 grams and are matched within 2 grams per set. Each unit is laser marked with the BTR logo, individually VCI bagged, and boxed in sets of eight.
