Installation Instructions for CP-1100LS Chevy LS Engine Mounting Kit for 1937-1939 Chevy

1937-1939 Chevy (stock steering)

1937-1939 Chevy (with Pinto/Mustang IFS)

1. Remove both original transmission crossmembers. Remove battery box and side splash aprons around engine. If it is there, remove the rear bolt from the shock absorbers (solid axle models), then grind the rivet heads between shock bolts flush with the frame.

Bolts can be reinstalled later.

2. Install frame adapters over frame and position as shown.

3. Clamp adapters in place on frame and drill necessary 5/16 in. holes. Bolt in place.
