Chassis Engineering Installation Instructions for SBC Motor Mount Kit for 1949-1954 Chevy
1. Remove original engine, transmission and rear end. Remove transmission cover in floor for access.
2. Cut the two braces from inside of frame rails that interfere with engine mounting. As you progress, you will find other odd pieces that will need to be removed/trimmed for clearance and fit.
3. (Engine Mounting) Slip both the frame adapters over the frame and locate as shown below.
