Easy to install use this kit with aftermarket Pinto/Mustang front suspension. Weld on kits include adapters, mounts, Thru bolt cushion sets, and instructions.
Installation Instructions for CP-1109 Small Block Chevy Engine Swap Kit for 1949-1954 Chevy Car using aftermarket Pinto/Mustang suspension.
1. Remove original engine, transmission and rear end. Remove transmission cover in floor for access. Cut the two braces from inside of frame rails that interfere with engine mounting. As you progress, you will find other odd pieces that will need to be removed/trimmed for clearance and fit.
2. Slip both the frame adapters over the frame and locate as shown below.
3. Trim outside of frame adapter saddle as needed to clear spring pod of IFS
