The Clevite CB1798H is a standard-size H-Series connecting rod bearing for Small Block Chevy V-8 engines. Clevite developed the H-Series line primarily for NASCAR-style oval track racing, but the design is suitable for any competition engine running in the medium-to-high RPM range. Compared to Clevite's P-Series bearings, the H-Series uses a medium level of eccentricity and a higher crush factor for more secure seating in the rod bore.
