Cometic Multilayer Steel (MLS) Gaskets are designed to provide the best possible seal for naturally-aspirated, boosted, or nitrous-fed engines. The head gaskets are made from 3-5 layers of spring stainless steel, offering a stronger base material than standard cylinder head gaskets. The outer layers are Viton-coated stainless steel to create a superior seal not available with other steel or copper gaskets. The gaskets have excellent rebound characteristics and are made to resist corrosive substances. MLS head gaskets reduce bore distortion but still withstand extreme cylinder pressures. Sold individually.

- Made from Stainless Spring Steel to offer an extremely strong corrosion-resistant cylinder head gasket
- Each MLS head gasket is coated with a .001" thick Viton rubber that is bonded to the outer stainless steel layers
- Designed to withstand serious cylinder pressures without requiring machining for the installation of a locking wire Installation Notes
- Gaskets are not designed to be used on engines with O-rings or receiver grooves
- Always refer to the manufacturer of the fastener to determine accurate torque values
- A surface finish of 50 RA (roughness average) or finer is recommended for proper gasket seal
- Cometic Cylinder Head Gaskets go on dry because they're coated with a sealant (adding another sealer can hinder gasket performance)
