This new kit from Currie allows 2" "Johnny Joint" rod ends and greasable hardware to be installed on stock JK frontend housings in place of the standard upper control arm bushings. The kit includes a Johnny Joint insert for gear case ear and installation tool, as well as 1" thick flame-cut steel upright for the tube side, with Johnny Joint already installed. This kit requires you to cut off the top of the stock bracket that is on the tube and install the new Currie piece into the existing bracket base. You then weld the Currie piece to the existing bracket base. This allows for no welding to be done on the tube, resulting in no warpage of the tube.This kit requires cutting and welding equipment for installation.
Currie Enterprises Jeep Control Arms are fully adjustable allowing the pinion angle and caster angle to be adjusted. This adjustable feature allows your vehicle to be upgraded to accomodate different lift amounts without having to replace the control arms in the future. All arms feature a steel D.O.M. tubing construction, are powder coated semi-gloss black, and are provided with zerk fitted grade 8 mounting bolts. Kits allow complete unrestricted movement, including the Johnny Joint featured as much as at both ends of all 4 of the rear arms, both ends of the front lowers, and on one end of the front upper arms.
