Available greaseable or non-greaseable, Life Series U-Joints have cold-formed steel journal crosses for maximum strength and triple-lip seals with an external guard to handle harsh conditions. Non-greaseable U-joints are prefilled with synthetic lithium grease to reduce friction and raise temperature resistance, plus have ample grease reservoirs in each trunnion to ensure effective lubrication. Non-greaseable U-joints are stronger than greaseable units because they don't have grease passages. U-joints are sold each or in non-greaseable full packs. Spicer also separately offers synthetic grease (specially formulated for their U-joints but suitable for all driveline components), replacement U-bolts, and U-joint straps.
