DSE rear upper shock cross member is used when relocating the upper shock mounts inside of the frame rails, which is typical when widening the rear wheel tubs. The cross member is located between the rear wheel tubs. It should be mounted through the trunk floor pan to provide additional shock travel when ride height is lower than stock. This C-section cross member is made from 1/8" steel. It adds additional structural integrity to the rear sub frame and provides the necessary mounting for inboard upper shock mounts. It can be used on either staggered or non-staggered shock mounting.
