The Dorman B9513XL front lower ball joint is a direct-fit replacement for 1988-2025 Subaru Crosstrek, XV, Baja, Forester, Impreza, Outback, Legacy, WRX & 2005-2006 Saab 9-2X. It forms the pivot between the control arm and steering knuckle, carrying vehicle weight while letting the suspension travel and the wheel steer. Excess ball joint play leads to clunks, vague steering and uneven tire wear, so a worn joint should be replaced before it separates. It is built from steel.
