Driven Engine Break-In Oils are used for dyno and break-ins on most all types of engines. This petroleum-based oil has been formulated to supply the highest levels of zinc and phosphorus to the cam and lifters. No additional zinc (ZDDP) additives are required. Driven Engine Break-In Oils provide the maximum protection available during the critical engine break-in period. This oil is ideal for testing and power pulls on the dyno, one night of racing, or up to 400 miles on the street!

BR 15W-50:
Recommended by multiple cam manufacturers, this unique petroleum oil provides optimum levels of Zinc and Phosphorus for flat tappet and aggressive roller valve trains, and the additive package promotes ring seal. Provides the maximum protection available for cams and lifters during the initial break-in. Viscosity is typical of 15W-50.
BR20 5W-20:
Featuring the same high zinc and phosphorus formula as other Driven BR series break-in oils, BR20 is designed for engines that call for the use of 0W-16, 0W-20, and 5W-20 viscosity oils, as well as overhead cam engines with tight bearing clearances. It does not require any additional ZDDP additives. Good for dyno testing, one night of racing or up to 400 miles on the street. Viscosity typical of 5W-20
BR30 5W-30:
The same high zinc and phosphorus formula as the original BR break-in oil, now in an SAE 5W-30 viscosity for tight clearance and/or low-temperature break-in. Good for restrictor plate engines, drag race engines, and modern OEM rebuilds. Provides excellent ring sealing. Viscosity is typical of 5W-30.
BR40 10W-40:
The same high zinc and phosphorus formula as the original BR break-in oil, now in SAE 10W-40 viscosity. Well suited for a classic muscle car, European sports car, and motorcycle engines. Ideal for flat tappet and aggressive roller valve trains, as well as Ethanol- blended, pure Methanol, and oxygenated race fuels. Viscosity is typical of 10W-40.
