They are machined in a retarded position and are not recommended for this camshaft installation. Use Performer-Link Timing Chain Gear Set 350-7810, Accu-Drive gear drive 350-7891, or similar set.
- Use only with stock rocker arm ratio
- Do not use dual valve springs. Use stock, Edelbrock Sure Seat 350-5862, or equivalent valve springs.
- In order to use these camshafts in 1965-66 396-427 blocks, it is necessary to machine a 3/16' wide x 7/64' deep groove in the rear main journal of the cam to allow oil flow to the top of the engine
