The EPS casting is the taller, higher-flowing evolution of the Performer, and the extra plenum height is exactly why it is worth checking hood clearance first. On most cars it drops straight in; under a stock Corvette hood it will not fit at all. Runners are tuned idle to 5,500 rpm, so the gain shows up as street torque rather than a peaky top end.

• Dual plane EPS design, cast aluminum, chrome plasma finish.
• Fits 1955-1986 small-block Chevrolet engines.
• Idle to 5,500 rpm basic operating range, square bore 4150 flange.
• Heights: 3.740 in. front, 4.270 in. center, 4.800 in. rear.
• Will not clear a stock Corvette hood. Gaskets are not included.
