Vortec heads use an eight-bolt intake pattern and raised ports, which means an earlier small-block manifold will not bolt on or line up. This is the EPS casting cut for that pattern, finished in black plasma, tuned idle to 5,500 rpm so it suits a truck or street car rather than a high-rpm race combination.
