Designed for Big Block Ford 429/460 competition engines using Cobra-Jet cast iron, SVO Cobra-Jet aluminum (M-6049-A429), or the Edelbrock 460 CJ aluminum heads. This manifold is ideal for drag racing (Super Stock, Super Gas, Super Comp, Brackets, etc.), marine or any application requiring maximum power up to 8000 rpm.
Installation Notes: - Port exit dimensions: 1.88" x 2.16" with extra material for porting to cast iron Cobra Jet head size
- Recommended intake gasket: Fel-Pro 375-1231 or Jegs 555-210305
- Manifold height: (A) 6.30', (B) 6.30'
- Carb pad height = 6.30' View Manifold 'A/B' Measurement Guide.
- 4500 style carb flange
- Includes Nitrous Bosses
- Does not fit 1988-Up production heads
- Standard 429 and 460 cast iron heads will require port matching of the head to fit the manifold
- Where hood clearance is not a problem, use the 1" Cloverleaf Spacer 350-8718 with this manifold for maximum performance
