FiTech's Hyperfuel EFI Tank and Pump Systems are designed as a direct replacement, stamped steel reproductions of O.E. fuel tanks that require no modifications for installation. Hyperfuel EFI Tanks deliver the most modern fuel delivery system available for your early muscle car or truck. While primarily intended as an EFI retrofit system, these tanks can also be used on carbureted engines as long as a quality fuel pressure regulator is utilized to reduce the fuel pressure to the carburetor. Each fuel tank includes a quality sending unit for your fuel gauge, internal baffling with extra large 4.8-liter dual tube baffled fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation and choice of an EFI 340 L/PH or 440 L/PH high-quality fuel pump. An in-tank fuel pump is the best method of fuel delivery because the pump is submerged in the fuel which keeps it cooler, provides longer life, and is nearly silent.
