Series 2000 Pro-Flow Hose Ends use the single-nipple method of hose attachment. The socket draws the hose over a long tapered nipple, and the seal forms as the hose is crushed between the inside of the socket and the outside of the nipple. Because there is no sliver of cut hose to clear out, putting the fitting on a fresh length of hose is quick.
