Holley's LS Engine Retrofit Oil Pan Baffle is a direct bolt-in replacement for the flat, windage-only style one supplied with the Holley GM LS Engine Retrofit Engine Oil Pan 510-302-2 and features vertical baffles with one-way trap doors to allow oil to flow towards the oil pump pickup but not away from it, providing the proper level of oil to the oil pump pickup tube during vehicle acceleration and deceleration both lateral and linear. This is perfect for preventing oil starvation in applications that are used in prolonged sessions of maximum cornering and braking in high performance touring/road racing as well as under hard acceleration during drag racing!
