Holley 558-499 Transmission Controller Kit Features:

• Handheld tuner with the integrated wizard:
  • Plug and play w/engines controlled by a Terminator X Max ECU
  • Raise and lower shift points by MPH or RPM
  • Read or clear transmission fault codes
• Within the Terminator X V3 PC Software:
  • Virtual torque management tables
  • Allows use of Tap up/tap down shifting
  • TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) tables to dial in shift characteristics on any engine
  • DBW (Drive-By-Wire) and Timing torque reduction tables for smooth shifts

Holley 558-499 Transmission Controller Kit Connection Notes:

• Red Power Wire: Connect to constant 12-volt (5 amp) power for the transmission solenoids
• Black Ground Wire: Connect to a good chassis/engine ground source
• Light Blue/White Wire; Connect to the brake light switch wire (12-volt)
• Yellow Wire: Connect to the circuit for the starter solenoid, when the transmission is in park or neutral this wire is grounded, and is open when in gear 

Holley 558-499 Transmission Controller Kit Software Notes:

• The Terminator X Max ECU is required for GM 6L80/90E transmission control
• The Terminator X ECU harness is compatible with Terminator X Max ECU if upgrading is needed
• Terminator X V3 Software is not compatible with Terminator X V1 or V2 ECU Firmware
• To use V3 software with an older ECU version, the ECU and handheld MUST be updated to V3 Firmware
• Opening a Terminator X V1 or V2 calibration with Terminator X V3 software, will update the calibration from V1 or V2 to V3
• A V3 calibration cannot be loaded into a V1 or V2 ECU
• A Terminator X V1 or V2 calibration cannot be used in a Terminator X ECU with V3 Firmware
• The 3.5 in. TSLCD can be used to update the ECU & the Calibration from V1 or V2 to V3 when using Handheld Firmware V3 Build xx (tslcd35-terx.3.0.xx.fwu) or later
