Open Cockpit Self Stabilizing Helmet

Impact wanted a better helmet for open cockpit drivers, with the use of extensive 3D modeling they have created the VAPOR. At high speeds the ridges on the helmet create a boundary layer around the helmet stabilizing the drivers head. The VAPOR utilizes a louvered chin bar and cheek vents along with adjustable sliding forehead vents to help keep you cool. The VAPOR is available in two styles. Painted versions are made of a super lightweight Carbon-Kevlar tri-weave commonly used by the aerospace industry. The second model is a full carbon fiber helmet that provides the ultimate in light weight protection. Like all Impact helmets the Vapor also includes Impact's Gray Matter helmet liner, Impact's standard eye port with a three-position detent 1/8" polycarbonate shield, and interchangeable sizing cheek pads with dual D-ring closure. The Impact VAPOR is Snell 2015 Certified.
