Impact Racing's Nitro Helmet is designed to help nitro and alcohol racers deal with hazardous fuel fumes. A built-in Nomex skirt protects against fire and smoke, plus keeps fresh air inside the helmet. The Nitro has a dual air filter system so the racer can breathe normally while fumes are filtered out from the vehicle. A braided Kevlar eyeport gasket reinforces the helmet's seal, and the face shield's unique anti-fog polycarbonate withstands serious impact. The "Intelligent Gray Matter" Nomex-covered liner provides excellent comfort, a Kevlar chinstrap keeps the helmet in place, and an external D-ring on the front secures your head during launch.
