JEGS Fuel Pump Pushrods are made from 4130 chrome moly tubing for light weight and strength. Choose from pushrods with a steel tip (for cast cams) or bronze tip (for steel roller camshafts - i.e. 8620 billet steel).

A stock Chevrolet fuel pump pushrod can "float" at high engine speeds. Reducing the fuel pump pushrod's reciprocating weight allows it to follow the camshaft lobe more closely. Lightweight fuel pump pushrod helps a mechanical fuel pump do its job more efficiently, especially when the tach exceeds 6000 RPM.
