JEGS has unique tri-metal Rod Bearings. A surface hardened overlay with nickel barrier tops a lead and bronze intermediate layer then is backed by high-strength steel. The overlay is strengthened by a proprietary nano-scaled hardening process that modifies the molecular structure and creates a black fatigue-resistant overlay. This non-polymer overlay creates an increase in hardness and load capacity, reaching a significant 18.1HV. These high performance bearings are structured for conformability and embedability making them perfect for race applications.
