Bolting a modern LT1 T56 six-speed behind a classic small-block or big-block Chevy takes a flywheel that bridges both eras. This McLeod conversion flywheel keeps the older 2-piece rear main seal crank while setting up the pull-style clutch linkage the T56 swap needs.
McLeod 460370 Clutch Flywheel Features:
- Fits 1955-1985 Chevy SBC and 1970-1990 Chevy BBC engines with a 2-piece rear main seal (large register).
- Also fits 1991-and-later Chevy BBC 454, 502, and 572 engines with a 1-piece seal (large register).
- Sets up the crank to accept a 1993-1997 LT1 T56 transmission and pull-style clutch system.
- 6-bolt crankshaft-to-flywheel bolt pattern.
- CNC-machined from billet steel with a 1045 hardened steel ring gear.
- 153-tooth ring gear engages the factory starter.
- 11.000 in. clutch disc diameter.
- SFI 1.1 approved at 30 lb of rotating weight.
- Counterweight kit 560222 available separately if required.
