Modified engines that are designed for a lot of torque and horsepower put a lot of stress on driveline components, and that stress is multiplied on race day. There's nothing in the driveline that's under more stress than a clutch on a car with a manual transmission, and that's why you need the robust strength and durability of a clutch from McLeod Automotive. McLeod clutches are designed for the rigors of racing, on the strip or track. Clutches like the Street Twin Clutch set are enhanced to be able to handle as much as 1200 horsepower for small block Chevy applications. The McLeod Workhorse Clutch is designed for truck service, with beefed-up high clamp load pressure plates and heavy-duty ceramic or organic discs and a solid flywheel, giving it significantly more holding capacity than the stock clutch designs. McLeod also manufactures throwout bearings, clutch discs, master and slave cylinders for hydraulic clutches, clutch alignment pilot tools, frame crossmembers, hydraulic conversion assemblies, flywheels and transmission bellhousings. All their clutch parts and clutch accessories are designed for performance, strength and weight savings, with precision manufacturing, premium materials and tight tolerances for consistency and accurate fitment. For work or play, for street applications or hardcore racing, McLeod clutches and accessories give you the peace of mind of knowing that your clutch and driveline can stand up to the power and torque that your engine can deliver and help you be sure that power makes it to the pavement.
