Fuel tanks come out for a reason, usually rust on the straps, a cracked seam, or contamination that will not flush. This is the 26 gallon polyethylene tank built to the original specification, so the shape, strap locations and port positions all line up with what came off the truck. Note that trucks were also built with 35 gallon tanks, so confirm capacity before ordering.
