The rail cap covers the top edge of the bed side, which is the surface that takes every scrape from loading and every tie-down dragged across it. Once a cap is cracked or gone, that edge is exposed sheet metal and starts rusting from the top down. Note that these caps are specific to cargo box length rather than engine, so measure the bed before ordering.

• Right-hand side. Order the left-hand cap separately.
