The Digital 6AL sets its rev limit with rotary dials, but it has no second limit for the starting line. This module adds one. It connects to the ignition control tach output wire and to an activation source such as a transbrake, clutch switch or line-lock, holding the engine at the launch rpm you dial in until the switch is released.

MSD 8732 2-Step Rev Control Module Features:

• For use with Digital 6AL ignition controls PN 6425 and 64253 only.
• Two rotary dials set the launch rpm in 100 rpm increments.
• Activation wire connects to a transbrake, clutch switch or line-lock.
• Digital control delivers a repeatable rpm limit every pass.
• Releases to the main rev limit the instant the switch opens.
