New style Lightning 45 bottle valves can be identified by the machined flats around the dual 1/8" NPT gauge ports. The new Lightning 45 bottle valve features a female -06AN O-ring discharge port in the valve body. For -04AN feedlines use nipple part# 744-11721. For -06AN feedlines use nipple part# 744-11722. For -08AN feedlines use nipple part# 744-11723.
Old style Lightning 45 bottle valves can be identified by the absence of machined flats around the 1/8" NPT gauge and push ports. The old style Lightning 45 bottle valve features a female -06AN discharge port in the valve body. For -04AN feedlines use nipple part# 744-11717. For -06AN feedlines use nipple part# 744-11716.

Lightning 45 Bottle Valves are the first nitrous specific valve ever produced in lightweight aluminum. Manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and pressure tested to over 10,000 psi to ensure safety, the Lightning 45 will outflow any valve on the market today by a factor of four (except the NX DF5 Valve). Restrictive bottle valves will no longer be a problem in the nitrous world. The new and improved Lightning bottle valve features, a huge 5/8'' siphon tube, a .500'' lift stem assembly and a 45-degree outlet for the ultimate in flow and horsepower production. The Lightning valve includes dual gauge ports and weighs 1/2-pound less than the old style chrome plated brass valve. The Lightning comes standard in many NX nitrous systems and is also available separately as an upgrade for your existing bottle.
