OER 14427 Features:

New factory aluminum intake manifold that came factory on 1972 firebird/trans am cars with 455 HO engine. Will also work on all 1965 - 1979 Pontiac 350/389/400/428 and 455 engines, but is correct for 1972 - (engines that are from 1972 or newer must use Felpro gasket #1233). The manifold features the cast number of 488945 and has the correct "W" snowflake logo which was used in 1972 by Winters foundry and now is our registered trademark. Kit includes one aluminum intake manifold, one cast iron exhaust crossover (this is not the correct exhaust crossover for 1972, but will function properly if Felpro gasket set #1233 is used), and factory two-piece crossover heat shield (not correct for 1972, but will function properly) which insulates the intake manifold from heat produced by the crossover. Important: This kit is not cosmetically correct for concours style restoration, but is acceptable for driver or restomod applications.
