This reproduction firewall panel solves the rust problem and features correctly formed and punched holes for hoses, throttle and speedometer cables, and other requirements for easier installation. With this one-piece stamped steel reproduction, you can replace the old or rusted original panel and repair any issues associated with the firewall. Unlike other universal style firewalls on the market that are punched to fit multiple years, this firewall is punched specifically for 1968 only. This panel is for 1968 models equipped with with AC and comes with the air box cutout. Important: Firewall is correct for Coupe models but will fit Convertible models with minor trimming and alterations (drilling additional holes or filling some existing holes may be necessary).
