This is the extension bracket that was spot welded to the core support to accept the large heavy duty 4 core insulator. When restoring a 1968-72 Chevelle and El Camino with LS5, LS6, L78 or L89 with factory heavy duty cooling. This item was originally sold as part of the radiator core support and could not be purchased seperately. This item can now be purchased seperately. This item is located on the driver side of the core support and must be spot welded to the core support.
