This stamped steel fuel tank offers a precise fit and includes locking ring and O-ring seal for the fuel sender. This tank is a direct replacement for the early production original tank found on 1961 models before the engineering change on 07-01-1961. This tank features the longer filler neck and accepts the shorter metal filler tube pipe.
