This intake manifold is designed for square-bore carburetor applications on 1957-86 262-400cid Small Block Chevrolet engines and SBC engines equipped with 1987-91 L98 aluminum Corvette cylinder heads (non-EGR applications). Also, this manifold will work with any SBC engine equipped with aftermarket cylinder heads, as long as they have a standard port flange opening and bolt hole locations.This 180° dual plane intake manifold is designed to provide the best performance for stock to street-performance engine applications to a maximum engine rpm of 5500 RPM.This manifold comes with Black Diamond high temperature coating that is impervious to under hood chemicals and fuels. The black satin finish is highly durable, reduces fuel temperature by 6%, and provides a showroom appearance.
