  Sanderson Headers A-RED3.0 Features:

  Sanderson Angle Collector Reducers are used on exhaust headers to make it easier to connect header outlets to the exhaust system. The reducer bolts to the header collector, and then a qualified welder would fit and weld the head pipe to the reducer.

Notes : Some crafters prefer to have a one-piece head pipe, with no weld connection. In that case, a muffler shop would bend a head pipe for the application with a flange and ring out of the desired material diameter to match your headers (i.e. 2.5 in. collector = 2.5 in. diameter head pipe). With this configuration, you would not need the reducer.

Installation Notes:

The Patented Leak-Free Design on Sanderson Headers provides the only leak-free flange design on the market … Do Not Attempt To Use Flange Gaskets! The raised flange on tube-style Sanderson Headers will buckle the gasket during tightening and cause a leak! Sanderson Headers are NOT emissions legal on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify local regulations for compliance. Wrapping Sanderson Headers with ANY thermal tape voids the header warranty.
