After more than 55 years of use the factory panhard bar is corroded and the rubber bushings are cracked and dry rotted which adversely effects the performance of your car.
Our adjustable panhard bar allows for centering the rear end after lowering and provides for serious handling performance. It also allows for alignment of the rear end for clearance when running larger tires and greatly increases the rear end's lateral stability. All ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the polyurethane bushings.
Fitment Notes:
May not fit on station wagons. If installing on a station wagon verify the length before ordering. The center to center dimension of this panhard bar is 35.75 in.. Fits Chevy B-Body cars only.
The 1965-1970 Chevy B-Body cars came with two different style panhard bars. You will need to check your factory panhard bar before ordering so that you know which one that you need.
Spohn SKUs 151 & 154 (this listing): Fits models with the same 1.135 in. i.d. bushings on both ends of the panhard bar.
Spohn SKUs 151-172 & 154-172: Fits models with a 1.135 in. i.d. bushing on the chassis mount end and a larger 1.72 in. i.d. bushing on the rear axle housing mounting end.
