The ball Joints have a heat treated 4140 chromoly ball and stud with 1045 carbon steel housings. They also come with low-profile single lip seal instead of boots to prevent contamination while allowing old grease to evacuate the ball joint. This kit has no knurls on the ball joints to prevent premature wear on the knuckle. These will fit stock knuckles. Hardware Included

TeraFlex heavy-duty ball joints are made from hard alloy steel with slotted wear plates for ball-to-socket wear protection. The wear plates feature grease channels to increase lubrication through the entire joint for longevity and reliable operation, along with a magnesium phosphate coating to inhibit corrosion and reduce friction. Ball joint pre-load adjustability provides the user with nearly effortless wear adjustment (kits include Preload Adjustment Tool). The adjustable end caps with two grease fittings allow access from either side without axle shaft removal even when using larger RCV shafts.
