Total Seal combines unique sets of ultra-thin AP Plus Piston Rings with the option of a gas-ported top ring for the best seal possible. The continuous ring movement allows for consistent cylinder pressure distribution to ensure that the cylinder wall wears evenly by eliminating hot spots. This product offers an AP-coated or gas-ported top ring, ductile iron middle ring, and a stainless steel oil ring construction to reinforce the weakest part of the piston and eliminate gas combustion leakage. The ability to run a thinner, lightweight set of rings with strategically-designed horizontal slots helps to improve ring-to-wall sealing by routing the pressure so it forces the ring outward. AP Plus rings are available in a variety of bore and ring sizes that are sure to improve the performance of your boosted and naturally-aspirated engine.
