The Trail Gear flat bed kit is a great and proven method to obtaining the maximum amount of off road clearance, while still maintaining the utility of a pickup bed. These truck bed conversion kits are designed for the Toyota Tacoma and the Toyota Hilux. The Trail Gear pickup flat bed kits are constructed from 1.75 inch diameter X .120 inch wall DOM tubing, then precision CNC bent to make these flat bed kits as strong as possible. A main feature of Trail Gear pickup flat bed kits are the indented sides. This feature reduces the chance of tires contacting the side of the bed, even if you are running 40 inch tires and a rear link kit. The headache rack of the Trail Gear flat bed kits are designed to allow the bed kits' integration into an Exo cage, if one is desired on your rig.

While installing the Trail Gear pickup flat bed kits, the builder has the option to cut the cross tubes on the headache rack and narrow the rack to fit behind the cab utilizing the provided 1.5 inch diameter X .120 inch wall DOM tube sleeves. Trail Gear included interlocking Chromoly tube clamps in these flat bed kits to allow this kit to bolt-on and bolt-off for quick and easy repairs.
Please Note: Flat bed deck not included. These flat bed kits require cutting, welding, and minor fabrication skills. These kits also require cutting off the back of your truck's frame for proper fitment.
