Optional but recommended are the Spanner Wrench & Thrust Bearing Kit. The spanner wrench allows for height adjustments while the shock is mounted, and the thrust bearing kit reduces friction for smoother adjustments. For wheel and tire selection data, the Viking strut on a 1989 IROC Camaro, using a factory 245/50-16 tire and wheel combination, had a 1/2 in. clearance between the spring and the tire. The coilover will fit with factory tire and wheel combinations.
