The oxygen sensor installs in the downstream position on 1993-1995 Dodge Colt, Plymouth Colt, 1993-1996 Eagle Summit and Mitsubishi Mirage with the 1.5L I4 engine. It signals whether the exhaust is running rich or lean so the engine computer can trim fuel delivery. A built-in heater brings the element to operating temperature quickly after a cold start.
