Wehrs Machine 6th coil mounts were designed to soften the reaction of the lift bar when decelerating and braking. When running a solid chain it tends to loosen the car up on entry when the chain reaches its limit. Running a 6th coil will help reduce this effect. Wehrs Machine offers their 6th coils for late models and modifieds where a 5 in. spring is mandatory.
