The Wilwood MC5 Mechanical Parking Brake Caliper is a multi-use, cable operated brake caliper that combines high output performance with simplicity in design and construction, and is the perfect solution for vehicle applications requiring a separate, mechanically actuated parking brake caliper. Engineered with noise-dampening features for quiet, rattle-free operation, the MC5 sliding caliper includes a steel bracket for convenient mounting. Although caliper is buith in a top cable bracket configuration, the caliper’s lever cartridge can be clocked in three positions for optimum positioning and ease of cable routing. The 1.25 in. aluminum piston is fully dust booted to keep moisture and debris out. Each caliper is fitted with a cable return spring, and the mechanical lever accepts a .310 in. diameter barrel-ended parking brake cable*. The convenient manual adjuster requires no special tools, allowing incremental adjustment to compensate for pad and rotor wear. MC5 calipers are available on a type III anodize finish
